Creekside Catering Service and Social Hall

            Thank you for inquiring about the use of the Creekside Volunteer Fire Company Social Hall and/or Catering Service.  Whether your plans include a wedding, anniversary, birthday, reunion, or a meeting, we are sure that you will find our facilities most accommodating.  For your enjoyment and convenience, the facilities at Creekside include the following features:

            You may choose to have the entire event catered by our staff or to simply rent our facilities.  Please read the instructions which follow, then call our contact person with your request.

Non-Catered Rental

            You may rent our social hall and facilities in those situations where our catering services are not desired.  Use of the Social Hall includes:

·        Rest rooms  
·        Refrigerators  
·        Freezers  
·        Portable Soda Bar  
·        Beer tub  
·        Service Bar (nominal fee)  
·        Clean up  
·        Use of stoves and ovens is not permitted

Catered Events

            When your banquet/reception is catered, the fee charged is a cost per person for the meal.  All other services are included (ex: use of hall, rest room facilities, stage, tables, chairs, soda cart, beer tubs; and we handle the clean-up).  All of the meals are served buffet style, all you care to eat.  To request a brochure, please contact the Catering Manager as listed below.  Five (5) hours of “partying” time are included after the buffet line has been secured.  However, all parties must end by 1 A.M.

            Liquid Refreshment:  You may bring your own alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages thereby saving considerable money.  The fire company will not provide or serve alcoholic beverages for you.  You will need to provide your own cups for beverages that you bring.

            *  A portable soda bar for cans, bottles, or 2-liter containers is available for use.

            *  Plastic tubs for beer kegs are also available on site.

            *  A small bar area is available for a small additional fee.  You must provide a bar tender if you choose to use it.                 Or, you may set up a self-service bar on a table for liquor and/or alcoholic punch.  Punch bowls are available for your use.

 

            Modern Facilities:      The social hall was built in 1984, so it is quite modern, clean and handicapped accessible.

            *  Restrooms-  Spacious and clean.  The ladies room has four enclosed toilets and a double sink with counter tops.  The men's room has a total of five accommodations and a sink with a counter top.

            *  Special Lighting Effects:        The hall has fluorescent lighting as well as recessed lighting with controls to vary the brightness as desired.  A mirrored ball and colored spot lights are also available for dancing as well as some other special effect lighting.

            *  Central Heating/Air Conditioning

            *  Stage:  For a disc jockey or small band.

            *  Parking:  Sufficient off-street paved parking, well lighted.

Decorating

            Two hours of time are provided free at a time agreeable to both parties.  Additional hour(s) are available at the current rate. 

 

Reservations and Payment Arrangements / Terms

            To reserve your date, a $50 deposit (refundable up to 30 days prior to your event) is required, which is applied towards the balance of your bill.  At least one week before your function, arrangements need to be made for you to meet with a representative of Creekside Fire Company to make final arrangements.  At that time we ask that you pay 50% of the balance calculated at that meeting.  The remaining balance is due on the day of your event.  All payments need to be made in cash or a check payable to Creekside Volunteer Fire Company.  Unfortunately, we can not accept credit card payment.
